Widening and strengthening of Pericherla - Thokapalli Road.
The work of Widening and Strengthening of Perieherla - Thokapalli Road taken up by the Government of Andhra Pradesh with the loan assistance of World Bank has been awarded to M/s. KMC Constructions Limited in May 2000 for a contract value of Rs. 1296.90 Millions (Rs. 1670 Millions - Revised)

The work involves Widening and Strengthening the existing State Highway of 133 Kms. Construction of 55 Nos. of Bridges, 193 Nos. of Culverts are completed and 5 Nos. of ROBs are being constructed. The work is in good progress and expected to be completed by January 2004.

The total quantities of earthwork, granular pavement, bituminous items and Reinforced cement concrete for bridges executed upto October 2003 are 21,66,470 Cum and 12,79,770 Cum, 47,000 Cum and 16,867 Cum respectively. The work is being managed by Project Manager, Commercial Manager, Equipment Manager and other supporting staff. Field Laboratories with quality control equipment were constructed at suitable places.
